I've been lucky enough to draw two covers for the Le Cool London newsletter - a weekly guide to all that's unmissable in London.
The illustrations - Always Dress for the Summer You Want and Night Bus - can be found...
I am always looking for exciting projects to join and would love to discuss yours with you. Whether you need internal ideas brought to life, campaigns scamped and storyboarded or have a full illustration commission ready to go we should talk.
As well as knowing my way round a pencil (lead out front, eraser at the back people) I spent the better part of a decade working in marketing at the BBC so know the pressures of campaign budgets and deadlines, appreciate the value of flexibility and understand that collaboration is fundamental to creating the very best work.

Test Drawing for Children's Book
The brilliant Rosie Johnson has written a beautiful story about a little girl called Flo who escapes into a world of imagination (and the inside of a cardboard box) when real life gets a little too daunting.
This is a trial image for the illustration style for the book. I have used oil pastel crayons to allude to children's drawings and used brown paper to reference the box. The idea is that Flo is drawing her adventures onto the box and we are drawn into them with her. This image is at a moment when we're fully immersed in her fantasy - she is a commander of a space ship careering towards the moon.

In 2015 I had the great pleasure of writing a show with Punchrdunk Enrichment and the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. Against Captain's Orders took its unsuspecting audience on an adventure through the forbidden depths of the museum stores following an incident with an unassuming bottle and the message that should never have been inside it.
In the lead up to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens CNN ran a series of online Jedi Tests. My illustrations accompanied the Jedi Apprentice test which can be taken here http://cnn.it/29Jt76f
BBC
In 2010 I was commissioned by the BBC Picture Publicity team to visualise a series of iconic images announcing the arrival of the new Doctor.
Embodying the tone and direction the new series was to take these images helped the Pictures team secure approvals on a distinct and ultimately successful campaign.
ANNUAL REPORT
Commissioned by Conran Design Group to produce a series of illustrations for the SAB Miller annual report.
In 2016 I was commissioned to produce a poster for the Croydon Roller Derby's fixture against the StuttgartValley Rollergilrz. Included here are scamps for various designs as well as the final image focussing on the dynamism of the skaters and playing off the national colours of their latest opponents.
Submission for the Horror Channel Fright Fest poster competition.
Smith & Whistle, a newly opened "Mayfair local", takes its inspiration form the fictional story of dogged Detective Smith and his suave nemesis Mr. Whistle. I worked with Ever After, the agency that invented the Smith and Whistle story to develop the illustrated elements of the cocktail bar's visual identity.
Illustrations produced for a Punchdrunk Enrichment project that opened up the shadowy world of their production The Drowned Man to an audience of young adventurers.
